Featuring our Proprietary CO-OXiDE TECHNOLOGY™ the Copper Cat Roof Cleaner is designed to gently lift and wash away stains from organic materials like algae, mildew, lichen, and moss on asphalt, cedar shake, concrete, and tiled roofs.

It effectively cleans a wide variety of surfaces including animal fat and grease, commonly found in commercial kitchens on hoods and ranges. It is also suitable for crawlspaces, walkways, retaining walls, siding, fences, patios, patio furniture, pool decks, boats, RVs, docks, and any surfaces where these elements might accumulate.

This product qualifies as an EPA Safer Choice Direct Release product, ensuring it leaves no toxic residue behind. With no bleach in the formula, it meets the stringent regulations of the USA Environmental Protection Agency and holds the “SaferChoice” certification. The cleaner features a proprietary hydrogen peroxide base with an added activator for effective and thorough cleaning.

The cleaner typically takes 15-30 minutes to work, with optimal results when left for 45 minutes. It should be applied to a dry surface.

After application, you can either let it work on its own or give the area a light spray to remove any remaining material. In some cases, depending on the level of staining and debris, a light scrubbing may be necessary—except on granule shingled roofs, where scrubbing or pressure washing could disturb the granules.

When applying the cleaner, it’s recommended to keep small children and pets away from the area and to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The cleaner naturally breaks down into oxygen and water, making it environmentally friendly. If you’re working near gardens or special vegetation, simply water them down before and after treatment to neutralize any contact with the cleaner.

Contact with water will dilute the hydrogen peroxide, reducing its concentration but not stopping its action entirely.

As with any cleaning product, it’s always wise to test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure the cleaner does not adversely affect the surface.
